Have you ever wondered how a mine site really works?  Hosted by Go West Tours, you can witness first-hand the enormity of Rio Tinto’s open cut iron ore mine in Tom Price. This mine is one of the world’s largest and the 1.5 hours tour will take you into the heart of the mine site operation.

Guests are picked up from Tom Price Visitor Centre and travel by air-conditioned bus to the mine.

• Viewing of the Haul Truck workshop area
• Visit the pit lookout
• View trucks, shovels and drills, the crushing and screening plants and the train load out area
• Visit the main pit area
