Situated on Second Avenue in the coastal town of Onslow – the Ocean View Caravan Park is located on the beach front and offers powered and unpowered sites as well as self-contained cabins. The park is ideal for fishing enthusiasts and a good place for a rest with sweeping ocean views.
The park offers direct access to Front Beach, and a 1 minute walk to the Ian Blair Memorial Boardwalk which runs from the ANZAC memorial to Sunset (Back) Beach, offering great views of the ocean and the Onslow Salt Jetty.
The caravan park is located close to the centre of town and is only a 5 minute walk to the supermarket and hardware store, as well as the service stations which sell bait and ice to stock up for your next fishing adventure.
The town’s pub, the Beadon Bay Hotel is only a 3 minute walk away offering pub meals daily or alternatively, the Onslow Beach Club Restaurant also offers a more upscale menu from 7am daily.

Eeek!! Ocean View Caravan Park is currently at Capacity.
To help accommodate increased visitor numbers during the peak tourist season the Shire of Ashburton have made
Thalanyji Oval (51 Third Ave, Onslow) available for overflow camping from:
- Thursday, 10 July to Sunday, 10 August 2025
- (This temporary arrangement will operate on a first in, best dressed basis)
Conditions for camping at Thalanyji Oval:
- Camping is permitted only along the outer perimeter of the oval, within designated bitumised areas.
- There is no check-in point; this temporary arrangement will operate on a first in, best dressed basis.
- Maximum 3-night stay within any 28-day period.
- Self-contained vehicles only (must have your own toilet).
- Checkout by 10am.
- All wastewater must be contained and disposed of at designated dump points.
- Cassette dump point is available on McAullay Road at the truck bay.
- No fires permitted.
- Pets are allowed but must be kept on a lead.
- No generator use between 9pm and 7am.
- Please respect the surrounds and leave the grounds as you found them.
- Rangers will be patrolling the area.
Be sure to jump online to see if there is any space available, but we appreciate your support and understanding as we implement this temporary measure to support Onslow’s growing tourism economy.
Completion of stage 3 of the Onslow Ocean View Caravan Park is on the horizon, and we look forward to welcoming even more visitors with expanded facilities in the coming months.

Bookings can be made via the online link or by calling 08 9184 6053 and are recommended between June and August to secure your site.

Cancellation of booking 14 days or more before scheduled arrival
Deposit (i.e. one nights tariff) to be refunded in full, less a $21.00 cancellation fee. Alternatively, a credit may be issued for future bookings which must be used within 18 months of the original booking.
