Residents are advised that the Shire of Ashburton is aware of cows currently roaming the Tom Price townsite.
Residents are reminded that the cows are not domesticated and are likely to become provoked if feeling threatened.
Residents and visitors to the area are asked to not approach, touch, or feed the cows and use caution when driving through town, particularly at night as the animals can be difficult to see.

to report issues or circumstances that need attention.
Rio Tinto is arranging a muster team to collect the cows early next week.
